About Diana
Before becoming a Blue Badge Guide Diana had a successful career in marketing, advertising and communications, spending many years handling advertising campaigns for companies including Nestle, Esso, Thomas Cook, various charities and John Lewis.
She qualified as a London Blue Badge Guide in 2001 at the end of an extensive 18 months training programme. She now offers a wide programme of stimulating, informative and entertaining walks, all bearing her inimitable style and erudite hallmark.
Her ‘fan club’ has grown steadily over the years, mostly through ‘word-of-mouth’ and she now has a following of regular customers who enjoy the strong historical content of her walks and events, to which she adds her unique in-depth interpretation and personal flair.
Diana’s guiding credentials include:
- membership of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides
- full qualification to guide all the main historic sites of London (St Paul’s, Tower of London, British Museum, National Gallery…)
- special qualification to guide the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – site of the 2012 London games
A German graduate and fluent German speaker, Diana uses her guiding skills in English and German.
